Remembering

I just wanted to take a moment in prayer to remember those who died in the terrorist attacks on 9/11, and to thank the men and women of our US Armed Forces for their selfless sacrifice and courage. Regardless of your views of the war or your political affiliation, our troops deserve our thanks, our love, and our prayers.

There are many poems and tributes to the victims of 9/11 available all over the internet, but I think these words - which we know so well - speak volumes.

God Bless America

While the storm clouds gather far across the sea,
Let us swear allegiance to a land that's free,
Let us all be grateful for a land so fair,
As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer.

God bless America, Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America, My home sweet home.
