Happy Birthday, America

We had a lovely full-family get-together for the 4th. I say "full family" because, as with all holidays, Hubby, Maggie and I celebrate with both sets of our (grand)parents at the same time. It's wonderful not having to split holidays. Truly, truly wonderful, and Maggie is surely in hog-heaven with all those grands around :)

We had a fantastic and healthy cookout this year. It was so delicious and we have my dad's new uber healthy living to thank for it. What's not to love about a plate that looks like this...

Maggie had a blast in the pool with all the menfolk. Daddy, both grandfathers and her uncle Dink - and she has every single one of them wrapped around her finger :)

All in all, a good day for everyone.
