This week's theme: Encouragement
For this I have 2 things to share with you. The first one is a scripture verse that really gave me hope (and encouragement!) after we lost our Samantha last year. I really felt like God was speaking directly to me through His Word. I actually have this typed out and taped up in my office at work, where I can see it daily.
Remembering it over and over leaves my soul downcast within me. But I will call this to mind, as my reason to have hope: The favors of the Lord are not exhausted, his mercies are not spent; They are renewed each morning, so great is his faithfulness. My portion is the Lord, says my soul; therefore will I hope in Him. ~Lamentations 3:20-24
The other thing that encourages me is this:

(Isn't she just the cutest thing?!)
The fact that we were finally able to have a successful pregnancy and experience life with this little girl gives us untold encouragement. 'Cause, ya know, we do want to try for another ... eventually :)
Be sure to hop around and visit your bloggy neighbors ... you never now what new friends you'll make and when they'll be there the give you encouragement.
